Vimonto Deploy has two plans, per organization. Free includes 1 server and 3 sites. Premium costs €15 or $17 per month and has no limit on servers and sites. Both plans include every feature and unlimited members: the only difference is how many servers and sites you can add.
The first organization you create starts with a 7-day Premium trial, without payment details. The trial is once per person: organizations you create after that start on Free. After the trial it moves to Free, unless you upgrade.
You find the plan under Settings → Billing in your organization.

Compare the plans
| Free | Premium | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | €0 | €15 or $17 per month |
| Servers | 1 | Unlimited |
| Sites | 3 | Unlimited |
| Members and teams | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Features | Every feature | Every feature |
Every feature means everything in this documentation: databases, backups, monitoring, the browser terminal, recipes, site features, load balancing, the audit log, the API and more.
What counts towards the limits?
The limits count every server of the organization, including load balancers and custom servers, and every site on those servers. They apply wherever a server or site is added: creating one, cloning a site, importing servers from Laravel Forge or Ploi, accepting a server transfer (the server and its sites) and the API, which answers with an error that says so.
When the plan is full, the pages for a new server or site show Your plan is full, with See plans to go to the billing page.
The Premium trial
The first organization you create gets Premium for 7 days, without payment details; later organizations you create start on Free. Current plan shows how many days are left. Owners and administrators get an email two days before the trial ends, and one when it has ended.
After the trial the organization is on Free, unless you upgraded. If it has more servers or sites than Free includes by then, nothing is removed or stopped: everything keeps running and deploying as before. You just can't add servers or sites until you upgrade or remove some.
See your plan and usage
The Billing page shows:
- Current plan: Free or Premium, with the days left of a trial or Cancelled when a subscription ends at the end of its period. Below it, the Price (for a subscription, what you actually pay, such as €15 or $17 per month) and, depending on the situation, Next payment, Trial ends or Premium until.
- A card each for Servers and Sites: how many the organization has and, on Free, how many more fit. Above a limit, the card says so.
- Plans: the two plans side by side, as long as the organization has no subscription.
Upgrade to Premium
- Open Settings → Billing.
- Click Upgrade to Premium.
- Pay in Polar's secure checkout, which opens on top of the billing page. If it can't open there, your browser goes to Polar's checkout page instead.
Afterwards the billing page shows Thanks for subscribing. Premium switches on as soon as Polar confirms the payment, usually within a minute; the page updates by itself. The subscription renews every month.
Payments are handled by Polar, the merchant of record: it charges in your currency (€15 in euros, $17 in US dollars), adds VAT where needed and makes an invoice for every payment. Vimonto Deploy never sees your card.
Cancel or resume the subscription
- Click Cancel subscription.
- In Cancel Premium?, optionally choose a reason under Why are you cancelling? and add a comment under Anything else?.
- Click Cancel subscription, or Keep Premium to change your mind.
Premium stays until the end of the period you paid for: Current plan shows Cancelled and Premium until with the date. After that date, the organization moves to Free; everything keeps running, but you can't add more than Free includes. Until then, click Resume subscription to keep Premium as before.
Invoices, billing details and payment method
Once the organization has paid, the Invoices section lists every payment with its Date, Description, Amount and Status. Click Download to get the invoice. The first time, Polar makes the invoice: you see Your invoice is being prepared; try again a few seconds later.
Click Billing details to set what your invoices say: Name or company, Email for invoices, the address and Country, and an optional VAT number for businesses. Changes apply to the next invoices.
The invoices stay available after a subscription has ended.
The Payment method section lists the saved cards: the brand, •••• and the last four digits, when it expires (Expires 08/2028), and Default on the card used for payments. Click Add card to open Polar's secure card form on top of the page; once it is done you see Card saved, and the card is used for the next payments. Card details go straight to Polar (and its payment processor Stripe), never through Vimonto Deploy.
Click Make default on a card to have it pay the next payments; it then shows Default. Click Remove, and Remove card in Remove this card? (or Keep card), to delete a card. The card that pays an active subscription can't be removed: make another card the default first.
When a payment fails
The billing page shows Your last payment failed. Members who manage billing also get the Payment failed notification, in the bell and by email. Polar tries again over the next days, and Premium stays on meanwhile. Update your Payment method to keep it.
When you delete the organization
Deleting an organization ends its subscription right away.
Who can manage billing?
Every member of the organization can open the Billing page and see the plan and usage. Upgrading, cancelling and resuming, the invoices, billing details and payment method are only for members who may manage billing: owners and administrators. See members and roles.
Billing actions are recorded in the audit log: starting an upgrade, cancelling and resuming Premium, changing billing details, and adding, making default or removing a card (shown only as brand and last four digits).
Frequently asked questions
What happens when the trial ends?
The organization moves to Free. Everything you made keeps running, also when it is more than Free includes; you can only add more servers or sites after upgrading, or after removing some. You can upgrade at any time.
Do I need payment details for the trial?
No. The trial starts by itself when you create your first organization, and you only enter payment details when you upgrade.
Is the price per user or per server?
Neither. The plan is per organization: Premium is €15 or $17 per month, whatever the number of members, teams, servers or sites.
Do I pay twice if I belong to several organizations?
Each organization has its own plan. Joining an organization someone else created doesn't cost you anything; the trial comes with the first organization you create yourself, and later ones start on the free plan.
Do I pay for my servers through Vimonto Deploy?
No. Servers you create at Hetzner Cloud, DigitalOcean, Vultr, Akamai, AWS or Google Cloud run in your own account there, and that provider bills you at its own prices. The same goes for object storage for backups and for your domain names. The price shown when you create a server is the provider's.
Which currencies can I pay in, and is VAT included?
Polar charges in your currency: €15 per month in euros, or $17 in US dollars. As merchant of record it adds VAT or sales tax where the law requires it, and the invoice shows it.
Where do I find my invoices?
Under Settings → Billing, in the Invoices section, with a Download button for each. Only owners and administrators see them.
Are some features only available on Premium?
No. Both plans include every feature. Premium only removes the limit on servers and sites.
